Price
Victoria Island commands a premium for proximity. Expect to pay noticeably more per night than an equivalent apartment in Lekki Phase 1.
Access
For meetings on the island, VI wins comfortably. For weekend Lagos — beaches, markets, long dinners — Lekki is better positioned and less congested in the evenings.
Food and nightlife
Both are strong. VI is polished and hotel-adjacent; Lekki's Admiralty and Freedom Way scene is younger, louder and better value.

Working trip of under a week: Victoria Island. Family visit, first trip, or a stay of two weeks or more: Lekki.
